So, since I have been getting TONS of Huggies wipes with the Kroger Cars Mega Deal, I decided I needed to find something to do with all the plastic tubs. They are just so cute with all the different patterns and design! Well, I hadn't planted my herbs yet due to a lack of space pretty much everywhere and the other day I was sitting in my living room staring at the mountain of tubs my son had made. And it just clicked these were perfect size to put each herb into. Here's how:
1. Pop the tops off carefully not to break the plastic (oh and pick which patterns you like best if you have several different ones)2. Hammer/drill several small holes into the bottoms for drainage (8-15). I also added some rocks for extra drainage since these are pretty shallow and I didn't want mine to accidently flood.
3. Fill with dirt leaving space for approximately 2 small plants
4. Plant your herbs and top with dirt. Water and enjoy!
I also added the cute silver plant labels that I bought at Target at the beginning of the season in their Dollar Spot!!
I love the idea of going green. and the water globes look awesome !
