These products are all designed specifically for little hands giving children extra confidence to do whatever they imagine. Young children haven't yet learned the most effective ways to hold a crayon or paint brush which can limit your child's imagination when exploring the arts. Crayola My First "drawing tools are designed so children spend less time figuring out how to hold them and more time creating! " How exciting is it that by giving your child the proper crayon or marker from the start, you can help them build their gross motor skills all while playing and having fun!
We had a blast with each product in the review pack. In fact, Declan has had a little too much fun learning to draw - he has in one week drawn on the wall, window sill, desk, and my entertainment center with his new crayons and markers! It's like we unleashed the Drawing Declan Demon (haha)! Dane especially liked the My First Crayola Washable Dry-Erase Activity Mat since he could fix his mistakes instead of starting over as he is now learning to color inside the lines. This mat even works with regular crayons not just the erasable ones. Plus the eraser towel works on several other surfaces such as my window sill and entertainment center. I personally love the mat myself because it wastes so much less paper thus being more "green friendly".
Both boys loved the My First Crayola Washable Stampers which now are part of their signatures in each and every picture or piece of art! They are easy for both sized hands to grab and easily stamp away. Another fun product we got to play with was My First Crayola Mess-Free Fingerpaint and Paper. This is great because they have a blast thinking they are getting all messy but the finger paints only work on the magic paper - not my walls! The nice thing about the magic paper too is that not only does it prevent accidentally drawings but also teaches them that if they want to see results they need to draw on paper only!!
Crayola obviously has an endless amount of really great products for your children regardless of age and they are continuously coming out with more innovative ways to help your child grow and learn. They also have instant ideas for parents, kids, and teachers in a couple situations to help keep busy if for some crazy reason things get boring. There are also coloring pages, lesson plans, and other crafts that can all be printed from home or school. ALSO, "Crayola's green initiative is helping to ensure that today's kids will have a healthy environment for their creative tomorrows. The green trend meets school supplies and Crayola is leading the way with crayons made using solar power, markers made from recycled plastic and colored pencils produced with reforested wood."

Recommendation: Really if there is one company you should stay loyal to as a parent it is Crayola! They truly do their best to make your life easier and help your children grow into whatever their imagination creates! Some of the prices can be a little more than the competitors but even so they are well worth it in the end.

ReplyDeleteI have my grandchildren visiting for 10 days and our 4 year old granddaughter was helping me to draw a dinosaur by drawing a line from the number 1 to the 2 & so on. I was surprised that it wasn't easy for her to do. When I read the review about the products Crayola has put out like the My First Crayola Washable Dry-Erase Activity Mat I thought how helpful that would be. Thank you for introducing us to these wonderful products.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Fantastic Review on My First Crayola Products Review! I love Crayola products! The kids love to draw, paint, etc. They love their crayons to color in coloring books too! We have so many Crayola Crayons, a few markers, and we don't have any stamps yet! Thanks so much for sharing your fantastic review, the pictures, and your personal and professional opinions on My First Crayola Products Review with all of us! I honestly do appreciate it! Thanks again! Michele :)
