I have always been a very organized person throughout most of my life. You can even ask my mother. Unlike most other average children, my room was always very neat, I had a savings built up before I was 15, and my schedule for the week was always very well planned out. I am never late or I honestly begin to freak and chaos of any sort in my home makes me a little crazy (okay a lot of crazy).
One of the biggest challenges I have ever had to overcome once having children is dealing with the chaos a little one brings into our lives. I was even diagnosed with post partum depression after my first son was born. I just couldn't handle all the messes, the extra work I couldn't keep up with, and having an additional person to worry about on top everything else that comes along with a new baby. I had to learn to let some things go and to plan my schedule out just a little differently. Through the support of my husband and mother and really focusing on controlling what I let upset me (plus a little medication), I was able to get my self on track. So back to life and work I went.
Something that I can promise is that NO ONE understands what it is like to be a mother (especially a stay at home mother) until you are one. To be honest, I belittled others cutting the job down that they did until I myself became one. Your life is completely different and the chaos is worth it at the end of the day. But there truly is a lot to keep straight and organized as well as little ones to never take your eyes off all while trying to taking care of yourself.
"Well Planned Day planners have been a hit in the home school world since they came to market. With space to track four students, plan meals, prepare for holidays, and more, the Well Planned Day planner is great for homeschooling parents everywhere. If you prefer to download a PDF version and customize your planner, that option is available as well. Want to help your students develop their own organizational skills? Well Planned Day has student planners for elementary through high school students. Rebecca realized home school moms are not the only ones who want a planner that is both pretty and effective. She created the purse-size On the Go planner for all women who want to stay organized. Customers are hailing the On the Go planner as a life-saver. Even self-confessed 'planner flunkies' love the sanity-saving, feature-packed planner!"
Home School Convention asked me to review a planner recently. I chose the On the Go Planner since I don't home school right now and don't really have the need for the student planners. This planner is made perfect size for even a smaller purse like the one I carry. There is of course your weekly/monthly schedule but also places to schedule errands (like projects and store lists) or dinner menus as well as a place to plan field trips, activities and events. There also sections for monthly budgeting and family worship. On top of all that there are also Jonathan Edwards 70 resolutions included. And of course between November and December there is a section for gift buying/planning.
Cost: $15.95
Available to purchase: Home School Convention
Recommendation: The On the Go Planner is beyond perfect to keep any mothers sanity (or at least to a minimum). I wish I had one of these four years ago! The price is great in my opinion compared to other planners that have much less to offer.

I love that you seem to really explain the products. You don't do it just to get it over with. The descriptions are great and let me know what each one really entails.
