Love Bottle Review and Giveaway

     As many of you know I am extremely green friendly and using reusable cups and water bottles is just one small thing I can do to help out in a big way.  My family very rarely uses paper/plastic anything because I won't let them.  My 4 year old son even yelled at his sister last night telling her she better recycle her plastic ice cream cup!  This almost brought tears to my eyes :).  I just discovered a new company that I am very excited to tell you about - Love Bottle.

     Love Bottle began "when a nutrition consultant in San Francisco looked at the emotional and physical health of our country and wondered what she could do to improve it. Because water is our most fundamental need, improving its quality became the obvious answer."  Through research, she determined that this is made much easier through simple beauty.  People are much more likely to drink from a beautifully designed container which creates a sense of purity and cleanliness.  We all know what a terrible effect plastic water bottle have on our environment and that this isn't just a little environmental issue.  The implementation of reusable water bottles needs to be made a necessity.

     These reusable glass bottles are by far one of the prettiest green friendly products I've ever used.  Love Bottle is currently available in 29 designs - each with a beautiful design either printed on or etched into the glass.  Some that you can even write on to personalize with a name or say a company name like "A Lucky Ladybug".  Because they are so feminine, I wouldn't recommend most of the designs for the guys, although there are a few simple designs that could be considered "manly".  The bottles come in two different sizes - 500 ml and 1000 ml.  The nice thing about these bottles is that they are made from a thicker glass which I would hope would have a harder time of breaking easily.  Love Bottle also carries several carriers and coolers specifically made for your bottle!

     Love Bottle has joined Global Water in their cause by donating portion of their proceeds to help this wonderful organization. "To help improve and protect our water Love Bottle has also joined with Clean Water Action. A portion of their proceeds also go to this fantastic organization."

Recommendation:  Definitely worth the purchase, especially when you look at the competitors which offer plastic only products.  These can be washed and reused just as easily as anything out there.  My only fear is that one of my destructive children will break this eventually.
