Now because of my Tide allergy, I wasn't quite sure how my skin would react and whether or not this would be a cost effective option compared to my own laundry detergent. I know first hand how harmful some of the every day chemicals we use in our homes can be. The new Simple Green Laundry is plant based, biodegradable and is unscented (which we know is actually better for the clothes - even if I don't prefer it). "One bottle washes up to 100 HE loads or 66 standard loads and offers powerful cleaning in any water temperature. It is tough on dirt, grease, grass, food, coffee and wine."
I tested the Simple Green Laundry on something I consider to be much worse than your typical stains. I gave all three of my (large) dogs baths yesterday and used ournice towels to wipe them dry as well as a few other towels to clean their cages out. I then left the bath towels in their cages over night so they could curl up to something warmer to dry off. First thing this morning, I threw each towel I used in the washer with my newest laundry detergent. Each towel came out smell free, dog hair free, and soft. Usually I have to wash these towels two times to get these qualities with most other detergents
"Simple Green strives to make a difference in the world — through better, safer cleaning products, and through charitable giving. The EGBAR Foundation was founded in 1989 by Bruce FaBrizio, the President of Simple Green. EGBAR is an acronym for Everything’s Gonna Be All Right. The foundation’s mission is to provide educational opportunities that teach children about the environment and how to care for it."
Cost: $10.99

Recommendation: You know if it is safer for the environment and my family I'm going to use it. As far as price goes I don't think these are priced any different than the average similar products. Again Simple Green also has a long line of products for all areas of your home that would be worth checking out.
