Mohawk Home Kitchen Mat Review and Giveaway

        There's nothing worse than waking up in the morning, walking like a zombie into the kitchen to either make yourself a cup of coffee (or in my case get the kids some breakfast) and stepping onto the cold tile.  What I personally really hate about flooring is when washing dishes, it never fails I am spilling water all over the floor.  Of course you know me I'm not wearing shoes regardless of the season and I take one step the wrong way and wipe out on my a$$.  I had never really given much thought to rugs and or carpeting until last year when I worked with Mohawk Rug on a review.

        After our last rug from Mohawk was destroyed by my wonderful canine friends, we decided to give a different material a try to see if I could prevent any additional spills than I am already used to.  I chose the Tuscan Palette Cushioned Floor Mat carried at stores like Home Depot or Bed Bath n Beyond.  I have a contemporary look in my kitchen with both coffee and wine accents so the wine bottles pictured on the rug went very well with my decor.  Unfortunately, only time will tell as to how this rug holds up against my children AND more importantly my dogs.

        For now I will say it looks great, seems sturdily made, and cleans very easily (even with all the dog hair)!  Thankfully with this one I am able to sweep it off easily.  It is even more comfortable to stand on while washing dishes because of the cushion material (it also protects me from slipping on the water).  Mohawk Home rugs can be purchased at Home Depot, Lowes, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kohls, Target, Menards, Sears, Anna's Linens, and Walmart.  So you shouldn't have any trouble finding one of their rugs (if you don't already own one)!

Recommendation:  You shouldn't be surprised to find out you already own a Mohawk Home rug and didn't know it.  These are very inexpensive and easily found everywhere so if you don't have one and you are in the market for a new rug to accent your home this is a good brand to buy from.
