Lionsgate Fireman Sam: Holiday Heroes DVD Review and Giveaway

        I am excited to share with you all a new opportunity I have stumbled across.  I was recently accepted into the Lionsgate blogger program and couldn't be more thrilled.  I have never had an opportunity before now to review any movies.  I consider myself and my husband to be DVD hoarders.  We truly love watching movies of all kinds and discussing them after.  We think of ourselves as the best critics in the world of course.  We love to compete to see who can predict the ending.

       "Fireman Sam: Holiday Heroes" is now available from Lionsgate Home Entertainment on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand since October 9th, 2012.  It includes five episodes plus one bonus Christmas music video.

        The Holiday Heroes couldn't have come at a better time since we just had a visit from a real local fireman at our preschool last week! Both boys were super excited to wear their plastic fireman hat as they watched Fireman Sam perform all his brave acts around town!

        The synopsis says "It’s the holiday season and Fireman Sam’s adventures are heating up! Norman causes trouble baking more than holiday cookies and Sarah and James’ search for a polar bear turns into a snowy rescue! Trevor and his passengers find themselves on thin ice and Norman’s snowboarding antics leave Mike in a mountain of trouble. Sam shows his firefighting talent when Pontypandy’s holiday lighting competition goes haywire. With jingle bells and fire alarms, Fireman Sam is well prepared for the season’s best saves!"

Recommendation:  Although this is one of my first movie reviews I would have to say for the price I didn't think the DVD was quite worth it as it isn't quite long enough for my children.  They enjoy watching a whole movie and not separate episodes even on one DVD.  The storyline was cute with some good lessons!
