I know originally all hCG diets had bad reputations for starving yourself. If I even remember correctly, I think you were only allowed 500 calories max per day with limited food choices even so - NOT HEALTHY. When Diet Doc asked me to try their program, more specifically their hCG soups, I was thrilled to see something unique offered.
Diet Doc sent me their Chicken Gumbo, Thai Chicken, and Chili Mix. Now I will say this, I was a little disappointed to open my package from Diet Doc to discover this wasn't really a set of soups to try. What they actually are is soup seasoning packets to combine with your own ingredients including meat (lean of course) and vegetables. I was really hoping for almost something like a pre-made meal that way I know I am not adding anything I shouldn't.
All three soup were very easy to make once I purchased the correct ingredients from the grocery store. I was confident in the health of my meal and all three tasted just as if they were soup from a restaurant or a can from my pantry. I love that each of my packets made enough for around four bowls of soup if not more so each lasted me a whole week. I felt as though I had more energy and in the last two weeks I've dropped 2-3 pounds.
I love the variety that Diet Doc has available in their food program! There are a bunch of options like whole food package's the soups, support bars, seasonings, noodles, breads, and dressings. You can even sign up on their homepage for a free hCG cookbook and weight loss protocol workbook.
Cost: $4.99 per packet
Available to purchase: Diet Doc HCG
Recommendation: I actually liked this product for once and it worked for me. This says a lot since I have tried several non-exercising options to lose weight. I thought these tasted great, not like other diet meals that taste like crap.

I would love to see more natural products like the Tom's of Maine one you have listed. Not many people realize just how many chemicals are in regular products and just how unhealthy they are!
