You now I'm not usually a big jewelry person but that doesn't mean I don't like to shop for it. I mean, really how many girls do you know that don't like jewelry. I just consider myself to be a little bit more on the low maintenance side. Since I very rarely dress up, there is no need to change my jewelry all the time. Every once in awhile though, I come across a piece of jewelry or designer that catches my eye which is how I discovered Glass Peace.
"Glass Peace is a collection of Art Glass Jewelry handmade by two lamp workers, Allison Hill and Amir Shawn." All of the art work is created by using a torch to manipulate a very durable, shock resistant glass called borosilicate. Glass Peace has a huge variety of jewelry that includes glass pendants, earrings, and beads.
Glass Peace graciously decided to let me review a 2nd piece of their amazing jewelry. I decided to let Alana pick one out last time since she lost the last battle over the Teddy Tank. This time it was my turn! I decided to go with one of the jelly fish pendants. Each piece is completely unique and like no other as they are hand blown each designed a little differently than the next.
I think the jelly fish design looks almost as if you have your own mini ocean creature preserved in glass. I thought the design went perfect with just about anything I wanted to wear whether I was dressed up or just dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. Alana still has been wearing hers and I can tell you how mcuh I love sporting mine around. The boys think mine is just the coolest since it looks like one of "Finding Nemo's Friends" plus it is so sturdy they can't destroy it.
