PolarPillow Cooling Pillow Review and Giveaway

        Everyone sleeps right!?  But everyone sleeps differently.  Sleep is an essential part of all living creatures and each of us want to make sure we are sleeping comfortably and safely.  There are so many things to consider about our bedding and how it affects us.  We of course want to be comfortable.  That is why I recently contacted PolarPillow originally.

        I am one of the many people who loves sleeping on a cold pillow.  I literally have to toss and turn a thousand times a night to frequently move to the cold spot on my pillow.  That's no good because I am obviously not getting a good sound sleep.  "PolarPillow absorbs the temperature of surrounding air and transfers coolness to your head."

        The first thing I noticed when my pillow arrived was how heavy of a pillow it really was (12 pounds of cooling gel to be exact).  This made me skeptical because I tend to like the big and fluffy pillows.  One of the perks that appealed to me right away was the fact that there is no setup to get the pillow cold like having to toss it in the fridge.  "PolarPillow's coolness will re-energize within 30 minutes of exposure to room-temperature conditions"  even if its been used.

        Now that I've explained my initial reasoning for wanting the PolarPillow, I need to tell you my new reason for loving our new bedding addition.  My two boys sweat profusely - it is sickening how much they do while sleeping.  After about ten minutes sleeping you can move them from your arms or in the bed and can expect to find a soaking wet sweat spot on the pillow or your clothes.  Not anymore!!!  Again I have lost a product that was originally for myself to one (or two) of my kids.  We have been letting these boys sleep on the PolarPillow for over a week now and just love the difference it makes in their sleep.  Which in turn also helps our sleep!

Recommendation:  First off this is a very costly pillow.  But it is actually a very comfortable pillow and is very helpful for sleeping more sound, night sweaters, and even for sick/feverish babies.  Plus when you think about the fact that you don't have to grab an ice pack from the freezer or replace it every 15 minutes it really is worth the purchase
