Yala Designs Bamboo Dreams Pajama Set Review and $75 Gift Certificate Giveaway

        Over the course of the last couple years I have tried to educate myself and my family on all things green.  I honestly thought I knew quite a bit on the subject especially when it comes to saving money AND the planet.  I was wrong though, there was still one area I hadn't gotten too "eco-friendly" with.  Textiles.  There are many ways companies can be organic and eco-friendly in creating clothing.  Yala is one of these companies.

        This is truly a unique company whom after spending a little time reading about them on the website, I feel as though I know the creators personally.  The first saying I read when trying to educate myself on the brand was, "We believe we are all one tribe: equal, hopeful citizens of the globe. We care deeply about our impact on the planet. We are always evolving, learning, looking for a better way."  There are so many ways Yala tries to make an impact like driving an electric truck save 300 gallons of gas a year.  The BambooDreams clothing and bedding line is Oeko-Tex certified which means its guaranteed that the fabric and dyes are safely made using environmentally friendly production methods. The fabric is dyed using only low impact, Azo-free dyes.  Yala Designs also contributes and works with several charity organizations (the list is too long to mention).

        I had an opportunity last year to work with Yala and was forever hooked on the Bamboo Dreams line.  Ultimately I would love to get the sheet set as I am pretty sure it would be the most comfortable bedding ever possible.  Maybe like sleeping on clouds. :)

        This year I had to try another Bamboo Dreams product and since I couldn't get a sheet set just yet I decided to go to the next best thing - Pajama's!  I chose the Cloe Pajama Set to rest my body in.  The same thing as last time, the first thing I noticed was the feel of the fabric.  I have to say this is by far the softest piece of clothing I have ever worn especially pajama's.

        The only complaint I have is no fault of Yala's but due to my busty top.  I feel as though this is the first pajama set that actually supports my breasts so I didn't feel as frumpy (and saggy) without a bra.  The only problem is because the straps are so stretchy and comfy I felt as though they started to stretch out almost instantly under the weight of these boobs!  I wanted to take a picture in the set but the hubby said it might not be appropriate so below is the model (who looks much better in it anyway).

Recommendation:  Definitely a little too expensive for my taste but as you can tell I fell in love with the material.  So this may be one of those companies I have to splurge and get myself a Christmas present or birthday present from.  I can't tell you enough how much I love this material even at such a high cost.
