50 Shades of Chicken Cookbook Review and Giveaway **Adult Content**

        As a Restaurant Manager and Foodie Blogger, I thought I had seen it all.  Most things don't embarrass me and definitely few shock me.  At this age I also know what foods I do and don't like (even though I will try most anything at least once).  But then I received an email from Crown Publishing two weeks ago.  They wanted to know if I'd be interested in reviewing their newly published cookbook "50 Shades of Chicken".


        For those of you who have been hiding under a rock for the last year, this is kind of a parody off the recent hit book series "50 Shades of Grey".  Now please if you are a female out there who has read the series don't kill me but I have yet to read even the first book.  I just find it hard to do with all the other tasks I have to do for you readers!  I of course still plan to when I find that free moment.

        This book series has even created what they are saying will be in the future, "A 50 Shades Baby Boomer Generation".  So if this guy Grey is such a sexy hit with all the ladies, why not make a cookbook with the same concept!?  Well, let me tell you...this book will make your kitchen experience just a little more kinky than you ever thought possible!

        Each recipe has its proper name and of course its sexy name (which alone can turn you on or put you in the mood for some after dinner "dessert").  I don't even know where to start with the photos!  One of my best friends even commented to me the other day "erotic chickens apparently turn me on"....ummm, wow!  If that isn't enough of an explanation on what kind of photos these are then I don't know what is!

Recommendation: In all seriousness though, there were some really great recipes in this book for all levels of cook.  I absolutely loved it and will be sharing possibly as a Christmas gift for a few of my girlfriends!

    I've read 50 and think when your blog stuff cools down you should read them. And I don't think you should change anything. I love all that you write about. Such honest reviews of products.

    I haven't read 50 shades yet. My favorite chicken dish right now is just grilled chicken with italian seasoning with one slice of swiss cheese melted on top. Serve with Caesar dressing :)

    I haven't read it. My favorite chicken recipe is Coconut Curry. I don't use a recipe - just add the ingredients I like...coconut milk, curry, shredded coconut.

    I haven't read Fifty Shades of Chicken before, but I saw it just the other day in Barnes & Nobles! I love anything with chicken - Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Kiev, anything! :)
