Humerus the Funny Bone Review and Giveaway

        A while back about a year ago I had a really fun opportunity to review a product from Giant Microbes.  I am always looking for creative ways to teach the kids new information.  We try our own home schooling lessons but trying to keep either of the boys attention is not easy.  Dane is very intelligent and catches on quickly but on his own schedule. Declan is very intelligent but listens like a brick wall. Giant Microbes was by far one of the neatest ways to teach kids I had ever seen.

        I have to say I truly think these are great toys for kiddos.  It brings education to children by showing them a larger scale model of areal life part of the body.  This way kids don't realize they are learning!  How many 4 year old's do you know that know and understand the actual name of the 'funny bone' or what a paramecium is.   Humerus even comes in his own Comedy Stage so the kids can put on shows for us with him!

Recommendation:  I think these are adorable!  I think Humerus is a little on the expensive side.  I wish he was combined with the Giant Microbes site to be an all in one place to get these toys (but I understand him being 'special').  I'd like to see a package deal so I could get a ton of them to teach about or maybe for teachers to use in the classroom.
