This has become quite the challenge for us as the years go on. It is not necessarily because we are aging because everyone ages, but because of all the injuries we suffered as children. My husband actually has a twin brother so I am sure you can imagine all the trouble they got into when they were younger and all the injuries they sustained.
My sisters and I were pretty rough on each other too! Not only did we find it enjoyable to frequently have karate/boxing matches in our basement, I have dealt with arthritis in most of my lower joints in my body since kindergarten. I now also suffer from severe degenerative joint disorder in my thumbs and carpel tunnel (both I am sure aggravated from all my typing).
Because most of these products were uncomfortable, restrictive and bulky, "he created Tommie Copper compression wear. This unique compression uses multi-directional support and proprietary copper-infused yarn to provide relief from arthritis and other joint pains, promote muscle recovery and reduce inflammation all while being comfortable enough to be worn throughout the entire day."
I immediately contacted Tommie Copper in hopes of reviewing one of these potentially awesome products (especially since one or both of us is wearing this type of support most everyday). They not only agreed but graciously sent over a set of each of the knee, wrist, and elbow compression sleeves for us to try. Each are made of a highly wickable fabric and are machine washable.
"Tommie Copper products are manufactured using a proprietary compression fabric combined with copper infused yarn. Copper is necessary for the growth, development, and maintenance of bone, connective tissue, brain, heart, and many other body organs. Copper stimulates the immune system to fight infections, repair injured tissues, and promote healing."
"Compression helps stabilize muscle tissue, keeping the swelling of muscle fibers at a micro and manageable level. Compression helps reduce the inflammation that might slow down the recovery process and therefore helps reduce Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS)."
Kevin has obviously worn his the most and has claimed a huge amount of pain relief since he first started wearing them. He even wants to purchase several more to have around the house and for softball during the summer! These are even available in different colors so anyone could match their uniforms if preferred.
Cost: $24.50 Knee Compression Sleeve
$24.50 Elbow Compression Sleeve
$24.50 Wrist Compression Sleeves
Available to purchase: Tommie Copper
Recommendation: As if you couldn't tell, I think these are great and obviously Kevin does too! I even think the prices are great and pretty cheap if you ask me for the quality of relief you are getting. If you have even suffered from an injury or something such as arthritis then you need to check these out!

I have actually been shopping for wrist sleeves and braces, like their Wrist Compression sleeves! I have a lot of trouble with CTS, and have recently developed even more problems due to nerve damage in one arm.
