Bikram Balance Fruit and Vegetable Vitality Drink Review and Giveaway

On and off, I have been attempting a few raw foods/juice dieting options.  I am not only trying to lose weight but cleanse my system.  I am so sick of feeling helpless and over weight.  When a friend recently told me how much weight and how quickly she lost it, I had to give this new option a try.

Problem is a lot of people take these too far and think they need to starve themselves in order to lose weight.  When you do this your body actually works against you by storing any and all fat.  Once you quit these diets you usually put this weight back on twice as fast too!  There are of course several different ways to go about a juice only cleanse or raw foods diet.  I am truly trying to take this all one day at a time.

Originally I contacted Yoga Wellness in hopes of reviewing their Greens First line of products.  However, they had another product they had in mind called Bikram Balance.  "Bikram Balance is the first scientifically backed whole food nutritional drink to naturally restore electrolytes, improve performance and enhance muscle development. Bikram Balance is the most alkaline, oxygen-rich supplement on the market."

Sounds good right?  Well Bikram Balance is available in two flavors - Original and Berry.  Both flavors contain 49 different super foods in each serving (sounding even better to me).  It is also vegan, MSG/GMO/Soy/Gluten Free, as well as contains no yeast, corn, rye, wheat, OR artificial ingredients, sweeteners or preservatives.  Oh yes and the list goes on Bikram Balance is also dairy free, has no eggs and no animal by-products!  Wow I am out of breathe from just that list let alone the rest I have to share with you!

Now when I tried the original flavor I expected a vanilla (like most original formulas) but I felt like it tasted like the milk you would have left in your bowl after eating cinnamon toast crunch!  According to the Bikram website it is common to have different people taste different flavors "Because of our proprietary mixture of natural flavors, everyone’s taste buds picks up a slightly different taste."  Either way I thought it was great each morning!

There are even only 40 calories in each serving/glass.  You know I'll be honest about how bad most dieting drinks taste and the Berry one was great!  You can mix your powder with juice, water or any type of milk.  I've been mixing mine with water and it tastes like a vitamin water or koolaid but I'm sure it would taste like a fruit juice and strawberry milk when mixed with the others.

There are also all sorts of additional perks to having a glass each day that I found interesting because of all my "other issues".  Bikram Balance can help with weight loss, relieve joint pain, and help boost your immune system among many others.

Cost/Available to purchase:  $39.99 - 30 day supply pouch
Recommendation:  As much as I think this price is kind of outrageous, I actually liked this product for once and it worked for me.  This says a lot since I have tried several non-exercising options to lose weight.
