Mood-Lights Hand Painted Light Bulbs Review and Giveaway

        When hanging out at home, shopping or going out to eat, most people don't tend to pay attention to ambiance.  You'd be surprised though how much emphasis is placed on things like this at businesses. Different times of the day can mean different moods in people.  The need for a change in lighting or music can be different throughout the day and can differ from company to company.  Coming from a dining background I feel as though I have a pretty good understanding of these changes and needs.

        With the upcoming Valentine's day holiday, I thought it would be a good time to explore the Mood Lights.  Mood Lights are hand painted light bulbs painted by long time artist Felicia Renaud.  "The effect is similar to that of stained glass by projecting the design and colors of the bulb on to the surrounding surfaces.  This creates the illusion that the surface itself is painted."

        Although the light bulbs I received are more meant for children's rooms, they have a variety of designs available depending on your need or style.  The kiddos loved the way the flame design gave a red glow to their room, almost "like they were in a volcano or there was lava all around them".

        The rainbow with butterfly light bulb even projected a faint image on the wall and even on the dark walls appeared almost real.  And finally the cheetah pattern (which looks more like a giraffe) pattern went perfectly in Alana's room since she has a slight obsession with giraffes and her room is covered in them.

Cost/Available to purchase: $25-35 per Light Bulb 
Recommendation:  Obviously these are more expensive for a light bulb but knowing that each one is hand painted personally by the artist and should last about the same life time as any other light bulb.  My only thing is wishing these could be done on energy efficient light bulbs to offset the cost and life expectancy.
