So when I come across a piece of clothing or jewelry that really catches my eye, I have to have it! Even if sometimes this means only wearing it once a year. While doing some online browsing I discovered the unique company Arova. I was instantly hooked and just thought all the peices offered were so cool!
When I started writing this review, as always I checked out the About Us Section and honestly feel even more in love with the company since they pretty much described me, my thoughts, and style.
"Arova brings the best style from around the world to your doorstep. We search the globe for the extraordinary finds you’d normally only stumble across while exploring another country. Except now you don’t have to save up your frequent flier miles to find goods that complement your personal sense of beauty. They’re right here and willing to travel to you."
After contacting Arova, I was given the opportunity to review several beautiful pieces including a Janta Wine Bag, the Ahod Necklace 'n' Earrings, the Ethnic Foliage Necklace 'n' Earrings, and the Odessa Cuff. I love that the designs are nice enough to wear for a night out all dressed up or just dressed in jeans and a t-shirt.
Each piece is so uniquely made that even the dullest and most plain of outfits is going to look fabulous with one of these sets! What's really great is that even though the team at Arova is searching the globe for these one of a kind pieces they are also making sure to "make sustainable, ethical choices to help humanity and the environment."
I love the wine bags and that they are personally made in "India by a woman working to improve her family's living conditions in the Janta slum." This makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that even from my home in Michigan I can still help someone from far away.
Cost/Available to purchase: $8 Janta Wine Bag
$42/$12 Ahod Necklace 'n' Earrings
$42/$12 Ethnic Foliage Necklace 'n' Earrings
$38 Odessa Cuff
Recommendation: This jewelry really is gorgeous and can be worn by anyone at any stage of their life. My only complaint is the pricing is a bit too high for me especially since I don't wear a ton of jewelry. However, I want to say it is worth it to spend a little extra on something which environmentally friendly as well as something not everyone is going to have!
