Barney Loves You 3-Disc DVD Review and Giveaway

          Barney®: Barney Loves You 3-DVD Set just became available on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand on February 19, 2013 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The DVD includes three separate DVDs as well as a few bonus features.


        The We Love Our Family synopsis says "All we need is love from our family and friends – and of course Barney!  Discover the joys and laughter that moms, grandparents and cousins can bring in this unforgettable and heartwarming collection that the whole family will cherish!"

        The You Can Be Anything synopsis says "What do you want to be when you grow up? Join Barney and his friends as they look through Barney's costume shop and try on a few jobs for size. Just imagine and you can be ANYTHING!"

        The I Love My Friends synopsis says "Come join in the fun as Barney takes his friends on a super-dee-duper adventure that shows just what it means to be a friend. Princess Baby Bop® has a royally good time when she sees that a key to being a friend is keeping promises. Riff goes to great lengths to make up for a big mistake and prove he’s a friend who sees things through to the end. BJ® feels left out when he’s not included in a drawing, and learns the importance of being honest and expressing his feelings.  With singing, dancing and lots of monkey-ing around, Barney brings kids on a friend-tastic adventure and shows that everything is more fun with friends!"

        Barney "Barney Loves you" 3 DVD box set was another favorite of the girls.  These are good for watching while unwinding from the day, to give mommy time to change into pajamas, clean up the dinner dishes, start some laundry.  As a working mother of two, I love spending time with the girls, but also need to get everyday activities done without constant interruptions.  This helps me spend more time with them in the long run.

        This box set comes with "We Love Our Family" "I Love My Friends" and "You Can Be Anything."  Of course, it isn't the end all be all in no interruptions, but it does seem to curb at least a little bit.  I am becoming more and more of a Barney fan the more the girls want to watch these videos.
     
Cost:  $19.98
Recommendation:  Both girls really enjoyed watching this whole DVD set and have spent several days watching it while playing quietly to themselves.  I think three DVDs for $20 is a good deal especially if you are fans of the show!
