The Seven Year Hitch DVD Review and Giveaway

        On March 5, 2013 (my oldest sons birthday), Gaiam will release The Seven Year Hitch on DVD! This Hallmark Movie Channel Original includes popular actors from today biggest hit television shows like "Darin Brooks (“CSI Miami,” “Castle,”), Natalie Hall (“Pretty Little Liars,” “Law and Order: SVU”), Frances Fisher (Titanic), Griffin Cleveland (“The Walking Dead,” “Desperate Housewives”), Ryan Doom (“Raising Hope”), and George Wendt (“Cheers”)"


        The synopsis says "Best friends Jennifer (Hall) and Kevin (Brooks) have lived together for seven years, but Jennifer’s impending marriage is about to disrupt their domestic bliss.  When Kevin discovers that Jennifer’s fiancé is cheating on her, he seeks to save her from marrying the wrong guy by declaring that they have a common law marriage.  Now he just has to show Jennifer that he’s the one who can give her a 'happily ever after' ending."

        I thought this was quite the cute story even though it was a very typical girlie family movie where the end is very predictable.  We knew the ending within ten minutes of the movies beginning but thought it was very cute!  I loved seeing all the big name actors from the shows I watch constantly and this one played into my love of the hopeless romantic stories.

        We have a few couple friends who have been similar situations with living together, friendships, and marriage so it was interesting to watch the story from a different perspective.  Alana was extremely bored as it obviously wasn't much of a teenage flick.

Recommendation:  Now I thought this was a cute movie!  Yes a little slow moving maybe for someone Alana's age but I thought it was very realistic and I could see this happening to just about any one of my friends (or even possibly myself if I wasn't already married)!
