Merlot Natural Grape Seed Skin Care Products Review and Giveaway

     Somehow it has been an odd coincidence that my two friends and writers as well as myself all have sensitive skin.  So you can imagine my hesitation in wanting to review certain beauty products.  I want to bring each of you different products even if they are not something I would particularly use.  (I know there are very few like me out there, haha!)
        I don't even remember how I stumbled on this next company but I am sure glad I did.  After contacting Merlot Skin Care, they quickly agreed to let me review several of their products including their First Crush 3-in-1 Blemish/Acne Treatment, Moisturizer, Cleanser, and Hydrating Toner.

        Founded by the “Father of Grape Seed Technology” or also known as Dr. Grapes and Mr. Merlot, Wayne Beckley created Merlot Skin Care in 2001.  "All Merlot products are made in the USA utilizing the power of the grape seed in each unique formulation. Harnessing nature’s most powerful antioxidants, Merlot products work to fight free radicals – molecules caused by smoke, smog, pollution, stress, and UV rays – and protect skin against the signs of aging."

        Right away the smell of the toner was refreshing and sweet (with an obvious grape scent).  My skin felt uber soft afterwards without feeling sticky or dried out.  I do have to say I don't feel like the toner is strong enough for my skin but great for minor breakouts or maintaining fresh looking skin.

        The Cleanser had the same refreshing feel and smell.  It made my face feel cold and clean after rinsing it off.  I absolutely loved the moisturizer and it perfectly complimented the Cleanser for use right after.  I felt like it was thin and non greasy feeling and to be honest I actually started applying it to my legs after shaving because of how soft it made them feel!

        Finally the First Crush is a 3-in-1 treatment which I gave to Alana.  This is a cleanser, toner, and treatment all in one.  She has been raving about it and how "delicious it smells".  She said she can feel it tingling and cleaning and afterwards her face feels great.  She has already asked me to buy her another bottle for when this one runs out.

Recommendation:  A little pricey for me but remember I'm not quite the girlie girl when it comes to spending money on beauty products.  Since Alana liked her treatment so much I can say I see myself buying her more in the future, I just wish it was a bit cheaper!
