One of the best solutions I have been able to come up with for the lack in space I have in my current year is by using a square garden bed. Unfortunately, my first attempt resulted in me purchasing a very cheap one which has broken down over the winters and honestly looks terrible! So when I recently contacted the company Problem Solvers (a division of Plow & Hearth), I was hopeful they might have a solution for me and my mediocre space.
Old Garden
Not only did Problem Solvers graciously agree to send me a product but they actually sent me over a beautiful Four-Panel Raised Bed Kit This particular garden kit uses solid resin construction which resembles that of wood because of its texture and brown color. Although this material is long-lasting and maintenance free unlike any wood constructed garden bed.
The kit has these easy-to-use connector corners which keep the side panels locked in place. This comes with a weed barrier you will want to add to the bottom of your garden before adding the dirt to prevent weeds from stealing precious space and nutrients from your plants. Also included in this kit are pre-marked white dividers to help with easy planning and even separation during planting.
Old Garden
This whole kit makes the set up as easy as can be. I love that all parts are Made in the USA and should last a lifetime even in Michigan. Plus, if for some reason you get a product you aren't completely happy with Problem Solvers has a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Cost/Available to purchase: $59.95 Four-Panel Raised Bed Kit
Recommendation: $60 bucks is barely a lot to spend on a garden bed especially when most are made from untreated wood which eventually looks nasty and old if it doesn't damage pretty quickly. I would recommend checking out Problem Solvers as we had a difficult time deciding on a product since they have SO much available!
