        I am a huge fan of Halloween although I don't go all out like Randi.  I love dressing up in different costumes and being a character "playing a part" if for only a little while.  My children have also taken up the love of dressing up on a daily basis.  From pirate to princess we have a lot of costumes for the kids to wear and play dress up.  When Buycostumes.com offered me a chance to try an outfit in exchange for a review I was super excited to see what they had to offer.  After looking at their website for what seemed like forever, I chose the Pink Butterfly Fairy Child Costume for my 2 year old girly girl.

        My daughter was so excited when her costume arrived that she wanted to wear it to play outside.  I of course helped her change quickly into the costume and outside we went.  Luckily it was such a warm day in Michigan, finally experiencing spring here.  This outfit fit true to size and quality is far better than some of the dress up clothes that they sell in the stores.  Unfortunately my child is extremely rough on costumes; spilling food and drinks on them and wearing them while climbing on play structures.  I was a little disappointed that the skirt started to fray and pull apart after one wear, but like I said she was outside climbing on the playscape.  Swinging and going down the slides all day long, it was obviously bound to get a snag or two.

        The wings would not stand up when she was wearing them and moving around.  I did get them to stand in one of the pictures of her wearing it, but other than that the top part folded down over the bottom part.   I haven't been able to get her to put the wings back on her to figure out how to get them to stand up on their own so it doesn't really mean there was something wrong with them.  Other than her playing really hard in her costume, I love the quality of all the pieces.  I know she's going to get a lot of use out of this costume for many many months of play.

Recommendation:  I do recommend this website for any and all of your costume needs.  They are quick, and easy to navigate and deal with.  The quality of the costumes far exceeded my expectation and I excited to have my children's dress up clothes bin grow with all their different interests.  Even though I have two girls the next costume I get will have to be a super hero for my oldest daughter (she's such a little tom-boy).
