Barney®: Imagine with Barney DVD Review and #Giveaway

        Barney®: Imagine with Barney came available on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand on today July 9, 2013 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The DVD includes four episodes as well as several bonus features like Karaoke videos and games.


        The synopsis says "Come along for an imagination extravaganza! Join Barney and his friends as they use their imaginations to visit places near and far and explore their creativity through drawing, song and dance! The dinos explore a tropical island paradise when they bring a painting to life and go for a ride when they build their very own bus and airplane using imagination and teamwork! The dinos always know how to have a tee-rific time with creativity and good friends!

        Now I am not a fan of Barney by any stretch of the imagination, but my kids seem to be glued to the television when he is on TV.  So I guess that's one for the big purple dinosaur.  We don't ask for the Barney DVD's but we keep getting them sent for review, so of course the kids watch them.  They are still at the age where they enjoy all the imagination that the show uses.  The children all seem to keep quiet and happy while go in a different room to work without interruptions every five minutes.  All in all the lessons are good ones so I have to deal with the annoying dinosaur for a few more years!
     
Cost:  $14.98
Recommendation:  Both girls really enjoyed watching this DVD.  I love the team building lessons and how much it stresses being a team player throughout the the program.  I still don't know that I would pay $15 to have an actual Barney DVD brought into my home by choice.
