SPONSOR HIGHLIGHT 50 SHADES OF THE MOON STARTING 8/6
You know because I am usually pretty low maintenance when it comes to jewelry and makeup, one of the ways I love to express myself is through my hair. I have always been the one with the crazy pink streaks or never afraid to just take some scissors to it on a whim. I love wearing cute clips and flowers in my hair too. And because I usually pull my hair up I try to keep it flipped up in a twist so to avoid the daily ponytail.
My daughter on the other hand is much more girly that I am! She is very up on the latest styles and spends tons of time in front of the mirror trying to get everything just perfect! Last year I was asked to review a Flexi Hair Clip from Lilla Rose and my daughter was beyond upset that I got to pick it out. I initially had only heard of them as one of those home party type of companies and had no idea how much they had to offer.
"The Lilla Rose product line centers around unique, functional, and well made hair jewelry. From our flagship Flexi Hair Clip, we have expanded to Hair Sticks, Orings, Hairbands, and Bobby Pins. From there we rounded the line out with complimentary designed You-Pins, and Badge Holders."
These hair accessories are so different from just your average you might buy at the local drug store. I use mine all the time and feel like I've finally found something that works with my hair style. When I had a 2nd opportunity to work with Lilla Rose again I decided to let Alana have a turn at picking something out.
We decided we were going to go with something different this time and pick out a headband. After A LOT of searching through each of the products available again, she settled on the Sparkling Silver Headband. She really liked the smoky but shiny look of the jewels. There is even an adjustable comfort band for those who need adjusting.
It seems to be the new trend to wear your headbands around your forehead nowadays which is exactly how Alana has been wearing hers! She loves to wear this with a variety of outfits and even works well to add a bit of flair when she has her hair in a ponytail.
If you are planning on buying a Flexi Clip, I definitely recommend watching the sizing and styling videos as it is very important to have the correct size in order for it to work properly with your hair type. Although if in the unfortunate circumstance you incorrectly order, Lilla Rose will gladly exchange your flexi for free within 90 days. There is also a one-year guarantee on defective items.

Recommendation: I have to say originally I would have never paid $17 for a headband. I mean come on that is quite pricey! But when you look at the guarantee, the fantastic quality, and the fact that it works better than anything else I've ever tried I can tell you $17 isn't much to spend.

ReplyDeleteI am in love with these clips! I have thick and very curly hair. The clips fit any hair style.
ReplyDeleteI just love their hair clips. I bought my first one a few months ago and plan to keep buying them. I had wondered about the headbands because, I throw a headband in my hair every once in a while. I wasn't sure if it would hold it back right. but, with adjustable strap it should. Beautiful daughter, and headband looked cute around her forehead.
