My Little Pony Equestria Girls DVD Review and #Giveaway


        Since I've already shared one of the My Little Pony reviews with you in the past this may not be quite as weird however as a mother of boys this may seem a little different!  I am definitely the type of parent that allows my children to explore whatever things they choose.  I DO NOT specify things that are boy or girl appropriate so if you are an individual who feels that way, you are entitled to your own opinion but you may not want to read this review.


        On August 6th, Shout Factory Kids, in collaboration with Hasbro Studios, released the newest feature My Little Pony Equestria Girls on DVD! This movie includes several bonus features including Through The Mirror Of Equestria Girls, Karaoke Songs, Pony-fy Yourself and a Printable Movie Poster.

        The synopsis says "When Twilight Sparkle’s crown is stolen from the Crystal Empire, she pursues the thief, Sunset Shimmer, into an alternate world where she finds herself turned into…a teenage girl! To regain her crown and return to Equestria, Twilight must learn how to fit into this strange, new world and defeat Sunset Shimmer in a competition to become crowned Princess of the Fall Formal at Canterlot High. Luckily, she will have the assistance of Spike and five teenage girls who remind her of a certain group of ponies back home."



        Dane was thrilled to watch this one as I knew he would be!  We had originally planned to go see this one at the theaters but something came up and we were unable to go.  Both boys have watched this movie more times than you can imagine and we ALL know the entire thing by heart at this point.

Suggested Retail Pricing:  $16.99 SRP and the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital combo at $24.97 SRP
Recommendation:  Both boys enjoyed watching this, in fact I definitely think at either price its worth it to purchase whether you have boys or girls.  The kids thought it was great and I honestly thought it was pretty sweet myself!
