Lugz Mahala Womens Boots Review and #Giveaway

        Ok so I've told you many times before but I am NOT one of those girls who is up on the latest trends.  I do consider myself to be stylish and lookin smokin when I so choose however, I usually depend on my daughter and sisters for guidance in the right direction.  One area I have been fortunate in has been shoes.  Not only do I find myself just loving shoes myself but my husband used to work in the shoe retail industry (and actually for 10+ years).

        We seem to be very picky about the ones we buy and wear but stay loyal to those brands we've learned to trust.  One of those brands has been Lugz.  I can tell you from the first pair I bought in high school (yes in mens for work), I have loved their shoes!  Then, I was fortunate enough to review several pairs of them for the blog including their Strider's, Berkely's, and their ZOSHo's.  This time around I was beyond thrilled to hear about their new women's line of shoes!

        Once I took one look at the style of fashion boots they had, I knew they were perfect for Alana.  We were sent over the Brown Mahala Boots and let me tell you, they couldn't have come at more of a worse time for Alana!  Being that it is close enough to the holidays, we told her she could try em out so we could get her opinion but that they were being put away for a Christmas present.  You would have thought we were taking away her entire wardrobe as I could not believe how upset and whiny she became (but oh well, tis the life of a fashionable teenager around Xmas).

        The Mahala boots are a fashionable slip on boot with Suede and a knit-sweater underlay.  These are lined with wool and acrylic so they are sure to keep your toes nice and warm this winter.  With a nice thick sole you should even be able to wear these around town no matter where you live (even if there is snow on the ground).  Alana said they were uber comfortable and made her feel like she was comfortably wearing slippers around!

Recommendation:  Honestly, these are a little expensive for my taste but Alana loves them and compared to other boots we have purchased which are similar to this, they are extremely reasonable.  The quality above all makes them worth it!
