The Cat Scratch Stopper Review and #Giveaway

        Being such an animal lover as I am I am always trying to treat my pets as family.  This means following any recommendations the vet makes or even things I know will keep them safe from harm.  Because I have worked with animals outside my home since a young age I feel fairly knowledgeable training each new animal we introduce into our home as well as how to care for them.


        One of my biggest pet peeves (haha pet peeves ) of cat owners is those who let them run wild outside.  This is terrible for them in more ways than we realize!  However, just because my cats are indoor cats, I still would never declaw one of them.  No matter how much of a pain they can be to my furniture, I still want to make sure if they ever escaped they would be able to defend themselves.

        We have gotten very lucky with our cats behavior wise over the years.  The cat doesn't scratch couches or mark/spray in random areas and usually our large scratching posts do the trick.  I also try to keep all of my animals nails pretty well trimmed.

        However we have come up with two issues over the last few years.  First we have found that when we lock our older cat up now in a bedroom she will try to scratch her way out at the door carpeting.  Second, my older dog who has a sensitive stomach has decided to pull up some carpeting from the edge of the kitchen on a few nights where he was apparently sick (maybe doing something similar as eating grass?)
