Lorex SD9+ Wireless Video Monitoring System Review and Baby Monitor #Giveaway

         Its odd how security and safety has become such a necessity in my household (more than most).  This is due to the fact that my husband had worked for a private investigator over the last five years.  He solely ran the security shop and monitored all aspects of the security company.  Because of this, I feel as though I have become much more knowledgeable in this area of technology as well more dependent on it.

        So when Lorex Technology asked me to review one of their products, I was pretty psyched!  I was recently sent over the SD9+ wireless video monitoring system with 7" LCD monitor.  "The Lorex LIVE SD+ Series is a wireless home camera system with SD card recording."

        What's nice about this camera is that it is easily set up for even the average person with little to no experience.  Of course it comes with a monitor but it also plugs directly into your TV or DVR as well.  I especially love the clear picture it projects onto whatever device you choose to monitor video on.  There is no static or glitching what-so-ever.

        Being that it is wireless you can monitor most anywhere in your home or small business such as outside, children's bedrooms or even a room on another floor.  Everything records on your SD card for viewing later (or of course you can view it live).  I especially love that it has one touch function to turn it on, so as I walk out the door I can set it to record instead of having it record on a constant when not necessary.

        We currently have our two cameras placed throughout the home.  One is facing directly at the front door and the other in our bedroom (where one or more child is usually sleeping).  Our bedroom door is also right next to the front door so more than likely the first place an intruder might go.

        There are also additional features such as 40 ft night vision and two-way talk.  The two-way talk was a feature I was most excited about so I could chat with the kids in the bedroom if need be and easily allows me to talk with Alana when she's home babysitting the boys!

Recommendation:  Not only are their prices great for this type of item but the selection is a decent one.  Ordering everything is very easy and shipping was extremely quick.  I love how easy this was to set up!
