        On November 5th, 2013, Shout Factory Kids, in collaboration with Hasbro Studios, will release Pound Puppies: Holiday Hijinks on DVD! I honestly had no idea they had made a movie about these little guys until I was asked to review this one.  Not only did I play with Pound Puppies as a child but we are a huge pet family.  All of our pets are rescues as we try really hard to teach our children there are always pets looking for homes!


        You can even find the popular voices of stars like Eric McCormack, Yvette Nicole Brown, Michael Rapaport, John DiMaggio, Alanna Ubach, René Auberjonois, and M. Emmet Walsh.  "Winner of the 2012 Humanitas Prize in Children’s Animation, the Pound Puppies series is currently airing on The Hub in the U.S. and YTV in Canada".

        The synopsis says "The holidays are here and no one is more excited than these lovable Pound Puppies! But can the gang — Lucky, Niblet, Cookie, Strudel, Squirt and Mr. Nut-Nut — make sure that every pet has a family of their very own this holiday season?"

        Ok, first off, I loved this DVD myself and thought it was just adorable!  However, just after it arrived Declan got sick and all he wanted to do was watch this over and over and over!  You can imagine how much I want to watch it now that I know each of the five episodes by heart!

Recommendation:  Both boys enjoyed watching this and as I said I thought it was pretty cute!  I definitely think at $10 its worth it to purchase since I know we sure have watched our moneys worth.
