Fanny Foozle Preschooler App Review

        Having children in this day and age is so much more different than it was for the generation before us.  Children learn and use technology almost 100% of the time now.  This is more than a way of learning but also makes it more fun so to speak for them.  I have used several online learning websites and found success using those websites.


        I am always looking for new websites to share with my teacher friends to use in the classroom in increase their students comprehension of material.  These websites are especially good for those picky or difficult learners who go about it in a different way and therefore have trouble picking up the lessons as quickly as other students.  I was excited when I was approached and asked to review the Fanny Foozle app.

        "Fanny Foozle is a daily learning experience for preschool children.  It is the triumph of solving mysteries, having fun, singing songs, saying tongue twisters and learning fundamental life building lessons.  It is a positive developmental lesson set in a world familiar and unfamiliar."

        Fanny Foozle was developed in order to help children learn to read in an interactive and imaginary way.  Your child has the option to choose to read themselves or read along.  Its nice because when choosing the read along option, the words highlight as they are being read.  If your child reads the story on their own they can turn the pages on their own frequency.

        As much as I thought the stories were cute, I just was not a fan of this one.  The kids didn't seem thrilled to play/read it more than a few times.  Plus when Dane would try to read alongside the story, it seemed to go way to quick for his age and level of reading.

Recommendation:  I would recommend this possibly for your pre-preschool aged children to help calm them down or keep them occupied as it reads through to them.
