Thomas & Friends The Thomas Way DVD Review and #Giveaway
Thomas & Friends®: The Thomas Way became available from Lionsgate Home Entertainment on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand on December 3rd, 2013. This set includes 5 CGI-Animated episodes as well as a few bonus feature games/puzzles.
The synopsis says "Hop aboard for fun on Sodor as the engines find out that there is always something new to learn! While Thomas and Duck learn how to steam ahead together with a special delivery, Luke and Millie find out what it's like to drive in each other’s tracks - literally! Percy steams straight into a lucky encounter with Bill and Ben, Caitlin gets a lesson in how things are done and Paxton works hard to recover Thomas' lost puff. With so much activity on Sodor, it's always important to steam ahead and remember that the best way is the Thomas Way!"
Although Dane is slowly trying to watch more of a variety of shows, he still constantly comes back to Thomas. Its so funny because last night (no joke) Dane started crying because he could not pick his nightly movie after about 30 minutes of staring at the DVD shelf had passed by. His response (as he was crying) was "how can you expect me to pick a movie when I have over 200 movies....I just love Thomas but there are too many choose from!"
We are truly fans of Thomas and even though the boys have too many to choose from, they seem to love having Thomas marathons. It is always one that gives the boys some great play motivation and I of course love that it keeps them moving around while watching the programs! Just in time for Christmas, this DVD teaches children the importance of working together but still doing things their own way!!
Cost: $14.98
Recommendation: I have to be honest as I mentioned in the last review, I am getting bored with Thomas. However as soon as I think they are out of the Thomas phase, they find a new one to spark their interest! This one was a cute holiday version worth buying as a great stocking stuffer!
