Here Come the Octonauts Review and #Giveaway

        We have always been big into watching Disney shows and always look forward to when they have a new show.  Its kind of like getting excited for a movie premiere for the little ones!  When Octonauts first came out we were pretty excited and fell in love with the cartoon.  So when we recently discovered Octonauts were coming to DVD we were more than excited to have the opportunity to review it!


        Here Come the Octonauts is available for the first time ever on DVD on January 7, 2014.  This is such an exciting way for your children to learn about the underwater world.  Not only has the series received several awards but they "have recently partnered with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to work jointly to raise awareness of ocean exploration and science and advance NOAA’s mission!"  So get excited for several events planned for the Octonauts in 2014!!

        The Synopsis says "In Here Come the Octonauts, Captain Barnacles must figure out how to free an old friend who is trapped beneath the ice; Kwazii tries to rescue a reef full of creatures before an undersea storm strikes; and Peso must help a school of frightened fish who have invaded the Octopod!"

        The kids all loved this but definitely Declan the most!  I think he enjoys watching them save everyone in need of help!  I am a big fan because of all the learning the kids finally do while watching a cartoon!

Recommendation:  Both boys were happy to watch this several times throughout the week.  They love "helping" others in trouble!
