Moody Sisters Organic Skincare Body Butter Review and #Giveaway

        Recently I got pretty excited when I noticed an all natural, organic skin care company looking to have some of their products reviewed by bloggers.  I got even more excited to see that it was for a COFFEE scented Body Butter and even more so since it mentioned that it would naturally reduce the appearance of cellulite.  Who's the company you ask?  Moody Sisters Organic Skincare.

 

        I was sent over the Coffee Body Butter and a little extra bonus Coffee Bean Lip Balm.  Both made with 100% natural ingredients.  Unfortunately I have to start this review off by saying, I am SO glad they sent the lip balm otherwise I might not have taken a second look at what other products they had to offer.

        Being that we were so excited for the body butter to arrive, we opened it right away only to discover an honestly hard to explain but disgusting smell.  Both myself and Alana felt it had both a waxy almost plastic smell to it.  We were also not impressed with the smell any better once applied to either of our skin.  "Our coffee-infused oil and essential oil combinations have all the important nutrients to make those cottage cheese thighs melt into some sexy, creamy brie."

        Unfortunately, I can't tell you if the butter works because I do not plan on trying it more than my first attempt.  What I can tell you about, is how much we loved the lip balm!  "However you tend keep your lips busy, you’ll want to protect and indulge them with our silky shea butter and yummy essential oil blends."  Not only were my lips uber soft after using this, they tasted as if I could just eat them up!  Being that my husband is a coffee lover...this was just fine with me!

Recommendation:  No way would I pay the $10 for the body butter especially knowing I would have to pay an additional $5 in shipping.  I would however be interested in trying some of their other products since I truly loved the lip balm.  Although again if that was all I was ordering I don't know that I'd be willing to double the cost (with shipping) just to have it again unless I bulk ordered several items.
