With technology playing a huge role in the young generations of today, I am constantly finding it is an essential part of my family.  You will easily find at least one person at any given time in my house using some a device (small or large) to keep connected and up to date with the world happenings.  We are always updating our gadgets and honestly have quite the variety each for different age groups. 

Now besides the obvious of wanting the best and latest gadgets, we also use this technology to keep up to date with our favorite sports teams and events.  You would think this was because I have a household full of boys, however I can remember buying my first big screen TV a decade ago so I could watch the Superbowl!!  I am sure you can all guess where I bought it from too.... Best Buy of course!  So obviously we are an all around sports fanatic family.

Unfortunately this can cause serious issues between all of us if we don't have the latest and greatest gadgets in our home.  With Kevin and Alana being from Georgia and myself from here in Michigan, we are all constantly cheering for different teams regardless of what sport season it is.  Kevin and I even compete on opposing fantasy teams so we are always butting heads when it comes to top players and teams to keep up with. 

Personally, I battle being disconnected from any of my personal devices but if there was one thing I absolutely had to choose to keep me up to date all things news and sport related, it would be my laptop.  It's portable enough to go most anywhere I need; I can check my line up's, game stats, and emails; At the same time can watch games, videos, or my favorite TV shows; And finally there is always access to the news or updates that pop up.
