Little Green Pouch was developed by another mom for a similar reason - Keeping kids healthy and interested in eating their fruits and vegetables. I was sent over the Little Green Pouch Large Starter Kit which includes everything you can imagine needing to create your own food pouches! There is a 4-pack of reusable food pouches, Swiveling Pouch, Nipple & Bottle Brush, A collapsible funnel, Roll of 60 Dissolvable Content & Date Labels, PouchPop (4-Pack) Silicone Spout Extenders, and 4 Pack of Extra Caps.
Working in the schools for many years I have also seen many kids spilling the fruits their parents send them with all over the floor, trying to open up the cups or the tins they used to be in (risking being cut), but with these squeeze pouches this solves all those problems. Not only are they convenient to throw in a diaper bag or lunch box; they are also a very healthy snack that is going to give your child the energy they need to stay healthy and gain energy to continue the learning process while at play or school with out all the added sugar.
You can easily use the funnel to load up to 7 ounces in each pouch and the silicone spout extenders are perfect for little one's mouths. These are top rack dishwasher safe too so cleanup is a breeze. You know I'm into this since not only do I know what's going into my families mouth but they are reusable making them more environmentally friendly as opposed to the alternative brand names and cheaper!

Recommendation: These are a wonderful healthy treat that both my girls loved to eat. My youngest loves to squeeze the pouches and enjoyed the flavors I created for her. I've even used these a few times taking snacks to work! I even think this is a great price to buy let alone with the discount!

Thanks for the wonderful review. I've been looking for great things for my baby (due in June) so I can feed him healthy food. I will definitely consider getting this. :) I love that it's dishwasher's safe. :) SO convenient for moms.
ReplyDeleteI have wanted one of these for so long! These would be perfect for snacks on family camping trips that would be so easy and mess free!
ReplyDeleteI could really get creative when canning time rolls around. Or I could use a combination for frozen fruit, put it in my Vita Mix and and take it with me while on the go.
ReplyDeleteMy son is at the stage where he's gotten really competent with pouches, and I'm really glad. He also loves greek yogurt, so I can use these pouches for that.
ReplyDeleteTHIS GIVES A LOT OF USEFUL INFORMATION, PRIOR TO THIS I DIDNT KNOW ALL OF THE WAYS THAT YOU COULD USE THESE AND I HAD ONLY RECENTLY HEARD OF THESE, SO THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEW AND INFO!!
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that the Little Green Pouch is easy to clean. I wouldn't want to have reusable snack containers that would be hard to clean.
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that 4 extra caps were included in the Little Green Pouch package. I also like the labels that dissolve when washed.
ReplyDeleteI love the convenience of the Little Green Pouch. You can fill one or you can fill them all, setting one aside for the day and putting the others in the fridge or the freezer.
ReplyDeleteI love that these are dishwasher's safe, and they are convenient to use, being about to fill and add to te freezer is an awesome bonus for the busy mom
ReplyDeleteIf I won, I want to give these to my son & daughter-in-law who are expecting their first baby in June. They may have to wait a little while before he can use them, but in the mean time I can recommend your review so that they can see how helpful the Little Green Pouch will be.
ReplyDeletei am so intrigued by this product, and it is in great part to your review, i will be so disappointedin myself for not entering more!!
ReplyDeleteI like the thought of putting applesauce in the pouches. And one way I can know exactly what is in the applesacue is to make it myself. Then I know it will not have any chemicals and preservatives.
ReplyDeleteLittle Green Pouches give me the peace-of-mind to know my grandchild is eating a healthy snack, low in sugar and good for him.
ReplyDeleteThis starter kit looks very useful. Thanks for sharing!
