Transformers: Rescue Bots – Heroes on the Scene DVD Review and #Giveaway

        As I've mentioned before my family has always been huge fans of the Transformers movies.  Even before the boys were born, Kevin and I would watch the first one over and over.  So needless to say we are pretty big fans of the cartoon series now with the boys.  I was psyched to hear we would have the opportunity to review new Transformers Rescue Bots DVD!


        On March 18th, 2014, Shout Factory Kids, in collaboration with Hasbro Studios, will release Transformers: Rescue Bots – Heroes on the Scene on DVD! The boys have tons of transformer toys of all sizes and are constantly watching the shows while playing with them at the same time.  This DVD includes five episodes for the kids to watch!

        The synopsis says "In this collection, the Rescue Bots go undercover to protect the quiet little town of Griffin Rock from the green ooze known as the Squilsh, recover treasure stolen by pirates  and help Griffin Rock recover from an earthquake! Along with their human friends, the Burns family, the RESCUE BOTS help keep people safe, and along the way they learn what it really means to be a hero!"

        I have to say not only are Dane and Declan now totally obsessed with this show as we have watched this DVD several times and then some, but it has been a way of bringing us all together during movie/TV time.  The kids love the action and its a more appropriate version than the actual movies which are geared more towards adults.

Recommendation:  We all loved this DVD as well as most any that have come out in this series!  It is definitely worth the $15 and then some as I foresee the children watching this well and past its due time!
