Transformers Energon Volume One DVD Review and #Giveaway


        Our entire family is obsessed with Transformers! So of course we were excited to review the new Transformers Energon Volume One DVD!   On May 13, 2014, Shout Factory Kids, in collaboration with Hasbro Studios, will release Transformers Energon Volume One on DVD!  When it first arrived, Declan got extremely excited and screamed "YAY TRANSFORMERS!".  Bumblee is Declan's personal favorite of the Transformers so he always gets excited to see him on screen.


        The synopsis says "Featuring the first 7 exciting episodes from TRANSFORMERS ENERGON - Ten years of peace have passed since UNICRON’s destruction, but all of that’s about to change. A mysterious enemy has unleashed the TERRORCONS on the AUTOBOTS’ cities, gathering energy for plans of total domination. Enter a newly revived MEGATRON and the universe is in for a war unlike any it’s ever seen between the AUTOBOTS and the DECEPTICONS. And once again, Earth is caught in the middle!

Can OPTIMUS PRIME and his valiant AUTOBOTS — alongside their human allies — protect the Earth against this new threat? Find out with TRANSFORMERS ENERGON!"

        While watching it, Dane thought it was super cool that the Transformers could connect together to fight the bad guys.  Dane says that he really liked the action and I could honestly tell before he even said something because we watched it over and over the first day.  I thought it was a cute cartoon and of course I used to watched Transformers when I was younger.  It's cool to see that they are coming back now in a new and improved format.  Not only did it entertain the boys but I was entertained as well.

Suggested Retail Pricing: $5.97
Recommendation:  We all loved this DVD as well as most any that have come out in this series!  It is definitely worth the beyond cheap $5 and then some as I forsee the children watching this well and past its due time!
