Cheryl Lee MD TrueLipids® Review and #Giveaway

        Being such a low maintenance chick I almost figured I would go most of my life without any having to have any annoying skin treatments.  As far as skin goes, I've even been quite lucky to avoid most real acne problems.  I only really have just begun to notice some issues with it since having the boys and my change in hormones throughout the pregnancies.

        However, I have experienced acne, red bumps, and scarring a lot of times on my arms and primarily only on my right arm (weird right?).  As embarrassing as it is to admit, I know I'm not the only person to struggle with something like this. After recently being asked to review a product from Cheryl Lee MD, I began doing research to see if there was anything I could do for it.

        I discovered this skin condition was called Keratosis Pilaris.  According to the Cheryl Lee MD website, "Keratosis Pilaris (KP) consists of small pink bumps at the base of hairs on the upper arms, upper thighs and buttocks."  I am constantly itching my arms and honestly picking at the red bumps causing even as much as bleeding and scratches across my arms.

        With this discovery, I decided to review the TrueLipids® TrueTherapy Ceramide+ Cream™ and the TrueLipids® Eczema Experts 1% Hydrocortisone Cream.  Using the TrueLipids® TrueTherapy™ Ceramide+ Cream™ right after you bath or shower will help create a barrier using "Lipid Release Technology", keeping moisture where it is most needed.

        For severe cases or even in the beginning of treatment, it is recommended to use the TrueLipids® Eczema Experts™ Anti-Itch 1% Hydrocortisone Barrier Cream which helps relieve the itching.  This also help those like me with sensitive skin to prevent the inflammation of the bumps and overall redness in that specific area.

        I have to say I noticed relief almost within the first week of using these, especially when it came to the itchiness.  My arms did take a while to heal from the scratch marks and picked areas.  However, the urge to itch them uncontrollably was gone within 24 hours of using the TrueLipids® Eczema Experts™ Anti-Itch 1% Hydrocortisone Barrier Cream.

        I have to be honest as I haven't done a fantastic job keeping up with the treatment twice a day since after the first week. And still I feel as though, I've noticed relief.  There appear to be less bumps already as well as most of the redness has gone down on especially my right arm.  I wish I could have truly shown the difference I am seeing in my before and after pictures!

Recommendation:  Do I think it worked, yes pretty good and better than any other type of treatment has for my arms.  It is hard to tell after only a few weeks if it is gone (or going away for good) but my skin feels better.  I highly recommend this company with what seems to be good pricing.
