On August 5th, 2014, Shout Factory released Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation – Turtle Power on DVD. Being that I not only loved these guys as a child but that now my two boys love them just as much, we had to have this one. We've only seen the cartoon versions together and I knew this would be a much more realistic version they could enjoy. They are always playing the old school arcade version game on our Xbox 360 and have become quite obsessive about it.
The synopsis says "Everyone’s favorite turtles — Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo, along with the newest addition to the family, Venus Di Milo — are back! They’re on a mission to rescue Master Splinter from the evil Dragon Lord and his horde while staying clear of other new foes like the vampiress Vam-Mi, the yeti Silver and the big-game hunter Simon Bonesteel who are all out for their shells!"
Needless to say, upon arrival, the boys ran around yelling in excitement about the new movie they could watch! When I asked Dane what he thought he said, "It was super good awesome totally dude!". The boys thought is was really exciting to watch them in "real life". Both said their favorite part was seeing the girl ninja turtle!

Recommendation: Both boys loved this as if you couldn't tell from the review portion! I think this is totally worth all $13 bucks and then some. I can't believe this one is listed so cheap! You are getting something your kids will love to watch over and over if they enjoy this type of action!
