School Lockers Review and #Giveaway

Jorgenson Companies
Trying to get your house organized?  What about the kids rooms?  I am always looking for creative ways to clean up, de-clutter and organize AND ways to get the kids excited to do so as well!  First of all, I have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and am very particular about everything having a place and function.  So, I was beyond thrilled when I was asked to review a Kids Locker from School Lockers.

"SchoolLockers.com is the e-commerce website for Jorgenson Lockers, a division of Jorgenson Companies. We are a family owned and operated business that has been in business since 1967."  With more than just lockers for schools and gyms, but unique styles and designs for the home!  With the popularity of home schooling growing, these are another unique way to give your children the full experience at home as well as some pretty darn cool decor for their rooms and play areas!

Made using scratch resistant powder coated finish in 30 different color options, these come with with heavy 16-gauge lockable metal doors and stainless steel recessed handles.  I love that these are as sturdy as the real thing (or are actually the real thing, LOL).  The locker we picked was 15" wide x 15” deep x 54” high overall. The deep size helps "discourage tipping" which god knows I need with my monkeys.

With Alana heading off to college soon, I decided this would be an awesome accessory to have in her room and even to take with her to the college dorms.  However, when my locker first arrived, she was out of town and the boys quickly claimed it for the time being!  Almost instantly, they were picking up their toys and clothes and placing them into the locker.

I didn't have to ask them to do a thing each evening and their explanation was, "Well we have a locker now for everything, Mom!"  Had I known this was all I had to do I would have bought a set the minute they were born!  Now that Alana is back home though she has reclaimed her review product!

This shipped very quickly and was easy to assemble.  I do have to note that the instructions were very vague and basic without instruction as to what screws (of different lengths) went where.  Kevin is thankfully savvy enough to figure things like this out.  However, if you are a person who needs instructions I suggest planning out your assembly with little help from the actual instructions.

I absolutely love the professional and fun look of these!  They are going to make a great accessory for Alana's room this year and her dorm room in the future!  The boys have already asked for one for Christmas and I personally think this is going to make for a great gift for any one of any age!  We've even talked about getting a few for our bar/billiards area of the new house.

Available to purchase/Cost:  $104.95 Kids Locker Gray
Recommendation:  As if you couldn't tell by my review, I recommend every one have one of these in their house!  Even if you don't have children, it is a great tool for organizing AND a creative way decorate with that nostalgic feel.  Such a simple tool and at a very reasonable price in my eyes!
