Bellemain Large Wood Drying Rack for Pasta Review

Not only do I love cooking myself but being my best friend is married into a large Italian family and she loves to cook too.  So when Bellemain asked if I would be interested in reviewing their Large Wood Drying Rack for Pasta, I thought it would be something fun for us to do together one day. I absolutely love making things from scratch and even though I had never tried pasta on my own, Tiffany knew enough for us to give it a try.

We took a day out of our busy schedules and decided to make our own homemade pasta together for sort of a girls day.  Pasta being one of my all time favorite way to consumer carbs I of course thought it was fun.  The rack is made of all natural wood and its extremely sturdy.  It was very easy to put together and take apart for easy flat storage purposes.

The rack worked perfectly for drying the pasta out.  Although, I believe the first attempt we may have cut too much pasta at once.  So needless to say we didn’t have enough room for all the pasta on the actual rack even with how big it was.  Our husbands were laughing at us as we were covered in flour!  Take my advice, if you decide to do this yourself, just be prepared to make smaller portions.

Being a creative person and trying to repurpose as much as possible I found that I could use this for more than just a pasta drying rack.  I now use it for drying my Ziploc bags after they’ve been washed.  It is actually the perfect set up for me right next to the sink!  It’s always a wonderful thing when you can repurpose things that may not get used everyday or even all the time!

Recommendation:  Not only is this an extremely well made product but it has multiple uses as you see I've discovered.  I think the price is a great one if you could use this product for anything in or around the kitchen.
