Unless you've made this transition and are as big into grill as we are, you probably have no idea what a relief this is. There is nothing more annoying than having to drag the grill out of the garage every evening just to grill dinner. Oh and don't forget the hassle of putting it back once it's cooled off.
However, leaving your grill outside comes with certain responsibilities as well to maintain the quality and life of your actual grill. So when Mr. Bar-B-Q agreed to send me over a few items for review again this holiday season, I was pretty pumped at the timing! They sent me over one of their Collegiate Grill Mats and one of their Collegiate Grill Covers.
Even though we live in Michigan, my husband of course had to have his Georgia Bulldogs style. The Grill Mat is 48 in x 30 in which fits most grills. You never want to store your grill outside without having a mat underneath to prevent grease or other food spills from destroying your deck. Thhis can be easily cleaned using a hose and rolled up for storage during the winter months.
While the same goes for keeping your grill protected by using a grill cover, the Mr. Bar-B-Q Grill Cover is 65 in, made from an Eco-Tech™ material which is 100% PVC free. "Specially coated for enhanced water protection", this cover protects your grill from the most extreme temps and weather (even here in MI)! There's even a drawstring to hold tight in case of higher winds or for smaller grills. As compared to other products you can find at sites like this, these were not cheaply made.
$19.99 Collegiate Grill Mat
Recommendation: These items can be used in any home and are high quality . What a great gift for anyone including yourself especially for the holiday season! The pricing is very reasonable for the quality.

One of my favorite memories is traveling to our Grandparents house on Christmas and spending time with them. They lived 11 hrs away.
ReplyDeleteThis would be so nice to save a deck from grilling splatters. Very Nice!!!
