I prefer real trees because I love the Christmas tree smell and artificial trees just don't have that smell.
ReplyDeleteFor the season, and the ambiance,mi love real trees, but for practicality, with kids, and now fur babies, artificial is best till we get a bigger place :(
ReplyDeleteWe have had real trees in the past, but now we use an artificial tree - much easier. Our tree decorating theme is very random - 2 adults, 5 kids, we all add a little something!
ReplyDeleteWe have a fake tree. It's a cheap twenty dollar tree that I picked up at big lots a couple years ago when we couldn't afford to buy a real one. Growing up we always had a real tree. I love the smell of a real tree but I don't care for the mess or expense of a real tree. As for theme, my kids are still young yet so we have pasta garlands and salt dough ornaments. When they get older I'd love to do a more elegant look but for now, I love watching the magic of christmas through my childrens eyes.
ReplyDeleteI would prefer real, but they are expensive, require work and it's been awhile since I had any kind of tree since it's not been in the budget since my house burnt down.
ReplyDeleteWe have an artificial tree because I like to decorate right after Thanksgiving and a real tree won't last that long. No theme, all the kids have their own ornaments that they put on.
ReplyDeleteI prefer artificial, less needles on the floor. I'm not fond of the pine smell too.

I prefer an artificial tree because its beauty remains constant, would love a nice five foot tree.
ReplyDeleteI use to prefer real trees. But as I get older I find that I prefer an artificial one. I have ornaments handed down throughout the years. I like snow on it. It's pretty,
ReplyDeleteWe go with a real tree. I love the smell but as I get older I want to get the tree up earlier so I am considering eventually getting a fake tree. We have tons of ornaments that are mostly themeless and most are from the kids.
ReplyDeleteI prefer a real tree but will probably buy an artifical tree. We bought our first artifical tree last year and it turned out to be only half a tree. This year we plan on reading the boxes better so we can get a whole tree. Thanks so much for the contest.
ReplyDeleteI have a beautiful Martha Stewart Tree in our family room with all white lights that I decorate with a snow theme only...snowmen, snowflakes, mittens etc. I love that tree! We buy a 10-11foot Noble tree for our living room. I have all of my Waterford, Hallmark & other ornaments on that tree with colored lights. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI would prefer to use artificial. We already use artificial and I have never had a real tree. Though, I would LOVE to try a real tree one of these days because of the fact that you get to pick the perfect one with your family EVERY YEAR!
ReplyDeleteWe have an artificial tree as we don't like to chop down a living tree for just a few days. We don't really do a theme either, we have a mish mash of ornaments from all the relatives so that's kind of a theme I guess. Family.
ReplyDeleteI have to have a fake tree because my son has a heart transplant and we can have no live plants in the home because of mold and fungus.
