Bellemain Micro-Perforated Stainless Steel 5-Quart Colander Review

        So if your anything like me, you have more kitchen utensils than you know what to do with!  I just can't help but continue to add to my gadgets since I love cooking from scratch so frequently!  The problem I am finding lately, is my lack in "grown up" quality tools.  Because my husband and I never had a traditional wedding shower, we never had the essential registry type items.

        We've stuck with all the cheap kitchenware we had when we were first married (and I mean like the dollar store products purchased when we were in college).  I have had more tools and gadgets break over the last month than you can imagine as we moved into the new house.  One of those many products has been my cheap plastic colanders.

        Thankfully I was asked to review the Bellemain Micro-Perforated Stainless Steel 5-Quart Colander.  Because I eat steamed veggies with just about every meal and the kids eat pasta constantly, I have a major need for a quality colander.  Using Micro Holes less than 1/16" in diameter, even the smallest grains can't slip through into your sink when draining.

        The holes are even positioned perfectly close together to maximize the waters draining speed. Made from an 18/10 Stainless Steel, this colander won't rust or damage in any way.  It holds strong no matter how you decide to use this and is even dishwasher safe.  I've been making extra pasta lately as we've had an additional two people in our home and this has worked great regardless of amounts or frequency of use!
