That being said, I am always trying to look for new ways to get more active with them. So when I was asked by Physical Apps to review theO SmartBall, I was intrigued by the idea behind it! "TheO SmartBall is a soft foam ball that uses revolutionary technology and your smart device to entertain and educate your kids."
My kids enjoyed the apps quite a bit and have already begun asking us to download more. However, I am not a fan of the ball itself. It claims to easily fit several large style devices. But, Kevin's phone doesn't fit into the ball (Droid Mini), mine requires shoving it in so much that buttons are pressed and getting it out is virtually impossible (Samsung S4). The only device that remotely fits is an iPod and even still, it is difficult to get in and out.
Available to Purchase: $59.95 TheO SmartBall
Recommendation: While I love the apps and the fact that they are free with TheO SmartBall, I would not pay $60 for the ball. It is really just a foam ball that barely works efficiently with most devices and is not worth that cost to me.
