Young Hercules: The Complete Series on DVD

        Laugh at me all you want but I am guessing I'm not alone in the female world when I say, "Why wouldn't I want to see a young Ryan Gosling half naked in a series!?".  Ok maybe I am but when I was asked to review the newly released Young Hercules: The Complete Series, this was my exact response.  I had never heard of the series but I figured it would at the very least be some good eye candy!


        On June 23rd, 2015, Shout Factory released Young Hercules: The Complete Series to DVD.  Originally this aired on Fox Kids Network from 1998 to 1999 (so back in the day when I was without kiddos).  The 6-DVD set will feature all 50 episodes with the very sexy Ryan Gosling in his much younger age and career!

        The synopsis says "This prequel series to the smash hit Hercules: The Legendary Journeys explores the dawn of an ancient age of light and darkness as the half-god, half-man Hercules (Ryan Gosling, The Notebook) — along with his friends, Prince Jason (Chris Conrad, Mortal Kombat Annihilation) and Iolaus (Dean O’Gorman, The Hobbit Trilogy) — struggles to find his place in the world and learns what it means to be a hero."

Recommendation:  I thoroughly enjoyed watching Ryan (if you couldn't tell from the previous comments however, I wasn't really too into this series as a whole.  I'm more-so guessing it would have been better watching it when it first came to TV.
