I have always been a very organized person throughout most of my life, just ask my mother. Unlike most other children, my room was always very neat, I had a savings built up before I was 15, and my schedule for the week was always very well planned out. I am never late or I honestly begin to freak and chaos of any sort in my home makes me a little crazy (okay a lot of crazy). One of the biggest challenges I have ever had to overcome once having children is dealing with the chaos a little one brings into our lives.
Something that I can promise is that NO ONE understands what it is like to be a mother (especially a stay at home mother) until you are one. To be honest, I belittled others cutting the job down that they did until I myself became one. There truly is a lot to keep straight and organized as well as little ones to never take your eyes off all while trying to taking care of yourself. As a Mother, tell me you aren't someone who wishes your daily tasks would complete themselves?!
I don't care what the reason, it would just be great to have that extra time on my hands. I bet we could all find something to do instead of those dreaded tasks like spending time with our children, catching up on a hobby (or sleep), and so much more! While I work from home and you'd think that my days run as smoothly as I want them to, this is anything but the case.
I consider myself very lucky to have always lived near a Meijer Shopping Center. Born and raised in Michigan, I am a long time Meijer shopper but even more so now that I've got a full family. When I leave my home to do things like shopping, I need to combine lists and tasks in order to get as many things done in a single trip. At Meijer I can shop for school supplies, groceries, household needs, gardening supplies, clothing, and so much more.
With the opportunity to find everything I need in a one stop shop, I can spend more time with my kids. I am able to be a hands on Mom with still time left over for myself and the things I love to do. I can garden during the warmer months, write more, and even sneak in my daily dose of Days of Our Lives!
How do you make more time for yourself?
Meijer wants you to share a “Make More Time for Mom” moment by submitting photos via Instagram using the hashtag #MMT4M
Everyone who participates has the opportunity to win a $250 Meijer gift card weekly (sweeps runs 4 weeks long)!
Giveaway: Meijer is going to give one of A Lucky Ladybug's lucky readers a Meijer prize pack to have of their own!
