ReplyDeleteI try to teach patience to my children in whatever ways I can (even if I'm not feeling it too much myself; )

ReplyDeleteI always try to get them to understand honesty, taking care of themselves, and not to put too much weight in what others think of them. What is important is what they see in themselves.

ReplyDeleteWe work on empathy. I found her balling to a save the animals commercial the other day, so I think she gets it.

ReplyDeleteI mostly work on teaching my little girl to be kind to others and her manners.and not so much a life lesson, but right now I'm trying to teach her the difference between dreams and being awake. It's one of those things I never thought of, like the awareness of there being a difference between the two should just come natural.
