Norm of the North DVD Review and #Giveaway

Now when I was first asked to review the new Lionsgate release Norm of the North, I thought it was going to be one heck of a movie for the kids.  Not only do they love watching movies with animals but I love sharing movies with them where someone (or some animal) might be unique or shows a motivation to stand up for what they believe in.

Arriving to Blu-ray Combo Pack (plus DVD and Digital HD) and DVD (plus Digital) on April 19th, 2016, Norm of the North is packed with TONS of all star voices like Rob Schneider, Heather Graham, Ken Jeong, Gabriel Iglesias, Michael McElhatton and a bunch more!  Bonus features include deleted scenes, outtakes, “The Arctic Shake” sing-along and a trivia challenge.

The synopsis says "Life can be a real bear—just ask Norm, a polar bear with unusual talents and a heart as big as the great outdoors. When he hears that human homes are going to be built in his Arctic backyard, Norm comes to the rescue. With a team of ragtag lemmings at his side, Norm heads to the concrete jungle of New York City on a freewheeling, fun-filled mission to stop the madness and save the Arctic."
The boys thought that this was a great movie and Dane especially was a huge fan.  He ranked it in one of the top 10 movies we've "reviewed".  Declan wasn't quite there with his ranking as he said it was a "medium favorite movie".  Either way, it has quickly become one of their favorites to pick out at movie time.

I did not watch it myself but Alana did and actually really enjoyed watching it herself.  This movie teaches kids to stand up for what you believe even if it's scary.  You can't always do it all yourself though and that working together with great friends can be just as productive.
