Warner Bros. Entertainment April/May Release Roundup Review and #Giveaway

I was happy when I was asked to review the three newest movies from Warner Bros. Entertainment - Wabbit: A Looney Tunes Production Season 1 Part 1 (releases April 26th, 2016), Sesame Street: Sing It, Elmo!  (releases May 3rd, 2016), and Pretty Little Liars: The Complete Sixth Season (releases April 19th, 2016) .   All three will be released on DVD and Digital HD.

Looney Tunes has always been a favorite of mine and after reading the synopsis, I knew this would be an adorable addition to our movie collection.  Elmo is a classic in most homes nowadays and my nephew is a huge fan!  With Declan so into music, I figured this would be a great one for him!  Alana and I have been huge fans of the series Pretty Little Liars over the years.  It has always been our mother/daughter time so this would be a great set for us to watch when we conveniently had the time together.

Wabbit: A Looney Tunes Production Season 1 Part 1 synopsis says "What’s Up Doc? More delightfully zany adventures with that carrot-crunching rabbit, Bugs Bunny! From Warner Bros. Animation, Wabbit is classic Looney Tunes with an updated look and engaging new characters. Squeaks the squirrel and Bigfoot join Bugs Bunny on his new escapades. Wabbit also features several of Bugs Bunny’s long-time, loyal Looney Tunes pals, including Wile E. Coyote, Yosemite Sam and the Tasmanian Devil, some of whom have new roles in Bugs’ life. It’s classic Bugs Bunny in present day situations. Now a whole new generation of viewers will be introduced to the lovable antics of that adorable, wisecracking bunny."

"Wabbit’s premiere on Cartoon Network ranked #1 in its time slot across all Kids’ networks with Boys 6-11 and ranked #2 with kids 6-11. The series was the #1 original kids program on basic cable with Boys 6-11."  This collection includes 26 episodes on it's two disc set.  Being that Bugs is a classic, this was one for the whole family.  Both the boys enjoyed watching with Daddy and even Alana (my teenager) along with all of us.

The Sesame Street: Sing It, Elmo! synopsis says, "Elmo and Rosita have planned a play date, but they keep missing each other! Children join Elmo and Rosita as they search the neighborhood for each other, singing along the way.  Through songs, kids can appreciate music, learn about friendship, and even practice math skills such as number recognition and counting.  Preschoolers will love singing and dancing along with Elmo, Zoe, Grover and Rosita and their new band, “The Cute and Furry Four.” But, when everyone needs to go home except Elmo, what will happen to the band?  This special is one you won’t want to miss!"

While I barely watched this one myself, I enjoyed watching Declan and his little cousin dance and sing along to this one.  With Declan being so musically talented, I love providing him with movies and shows like this where he can learn through music.  Even though Declan is getting past this age group, he still enjoys watching it with Jaxon.  I love how this one brings the kids real life situations like separating even when they are having fun.  It helps teach them about "time to play" and understanding when it's time to go.

The Pretty Little Liars: The Complete Sixth Season synopsis says, "As the sixth season begins moments after the season five finale, Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer and Mona are trapped outside the “dollhouse” where their tormentor, Charles, has been keeping them — with nowhere to run. Angered by their attempted escape, Charles' games take a more demented and darker turn. As the girls struggle to survive, Ezra, Caleb and Toby (recurring guest star Keegan Allen) continue the fight to find the girls with or without Rosewood Police Department’s help. Charles’ story begins to come together, with the Liars eventually solving the puzzle and unmasking Charles, finally putting an end to the “A” game. The second half of the season jumps five years forward, with new secrets, new lies and a whole new look."

Take a second to read these stats and understand WHY this is such an amazing show: "Pretty Little Liars is ABC Family’s #1 series in all Households, Total Viewers, Teens & Female Teens, and Adults & Women 12-34, 18-34 and 18-49. Season 6 is averaging 3.2M viewers⃰, and the show has been nominated for the 2016 People’s Choice Award for Favorite Cable TV Drama; it was nominated for the same award in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, winning in 2012 and last year. The series also won six 2015 Teen Choice Awards, including a win for Choice TV Show – Drama for the series."  If you are a fan of the series, I recommend getting your hands on the sixth season and if not I suggest playing catch up!
